A leaf as a wick🕯️🕯️

A leaf as a wick🕯️🕯️ Locally known as ‘pei viratti/pei marutti’ (literally, ‘ghost chaser’) , Malabar Catmint (Anisomeles Malabarica) is a medicinal plant that is commonly found in India. This herb's leaf is lit up like a cotton wick to chase mosquitoes away. These leaves were brought to the Open House, our Public Meeting Session, from the farm of Padmashri. T. Venkatapathi Reddiar, a horticulturist and florist from Puducherry.
